Katy ISD is about to be 101 years old, having been founded in 1919. The district contains and manages over 66 campuses and facilities serving a recorded 83,000+ students for the Katy area. They’ve also recently received an ‘A’ grade for the overall school district from both the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and the Texas Schools Financial Accountability Rating System of Texas (FIRST).
